Cloves have a strong relationship with pork & are often used to stud hams. Its intense, rich flavour makes it a great addition to poaching liquids & casseroles. Use them to stud apples, oranges, & sweet potatoes before cooking. Spice up warm drinks such as hot apple cider, mulled wine or chai tea.
Medicinal Benefits:
Cloves contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that are thought to treat digestive issues such as flatulence,
indigestion and nausea.
