This stunning Apple and Sausage Stuffing is a perfect accompaniment to any protein. Made with Pantry to Plate’s amazing Sage, Onion Powder and Rosemary, this is so good you might even make it your main dish! Give it a go and tell us what you think!


4 Apples (Pink Ladies were used for this recipe) 
4 Sausages, skin peeled off 
1 Tsp Seasalt 
1 Tsp Sage Ground 
1 Tbs Onion Powder 
60g Butter 
1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs 
½ Cup Chicken or Vegetable stock 


  1. Preheat oven to 180° C  
  2. Wash and dice apples 
  3. Place a large saucepan on the stovetop and melt butter 
  4. Add apples and cook until soft 
  5. Using a wooden spoon, add Sage, Onion, Rosemary, salt and sausage meat, breaking up the meat as you stir 
  6. Once sausages have browned, add in breadcrumbs and stock, stirring until combined. Add more stock if you prefer a ‘wetter’ stuffing 
  7. Remove from heat, and place in a baking dish 
  8. Roast uncovered in the oven for 40 min 
  9. Remove from oven and serve immediately
