In need of a delightful winter warmer to get you through those cold nights? Then give our Mulled Wine recipe a go! Made with Pantry to Plate’s incredible Star Anise and Whole Cloves, this satisfying drink will leave you with a warmed tummy and a smile on your face! Give it a go and tell us what you think!  


750ml Red Wine  
1 Medium Orange, sliced into rounds 
2 Cinnamon sticks 
3 Tbs Honey 
¼ Cup Brandy (Optional) 


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat 
  2. Continue to cook the wine until it barely begins to simmer, however don’t let it bubble as it will begin to burn off the alcohol 
  3. Reduce heat to low, and allow to simmer for a minimum of 15 minutes. (note, for a deeper flavor, you can allow to simmer for up to 3 hours) 
  4. Serve warm in a heat proof mug or glass, and garnish with a slice of orange
